Frequently asked questions

General
Should the consultation be with one advisor?

No, you may make appointments with multiple advisors. If you declare the costs of your meetings, you send the invoices of all advisors. The total amount of these invoices will be reimbursed for 75%, with a maximum of € 1,200.

Can I ask for advice on multiple topics at the same time?

Yes, that is allowed. You then tick multiple themes in the application form. When you declare the costs of your conversations, you send the invoices of all advisors. The total amount of these invoices will be reimbursed for 75%, with a maximum of €1,200. Please note: You may only use the ZZP-Adviescheck once. You cannot, therefore, apply for the ZZP-Adviescheck now for a question about pension and, for example, again in a few months for a question about disability.

What is the difference between a financial advisor and a 'regular' advisor?

A financial advisor must have an AFM (ENG: Authority Financial Markets) license and a Wft (ENG: Financial Supervision Act) diploma. A financial advisor is independent when it comes to complex financial products, such as a pension provision or disability insurance. Advisors do not receive commission for these products but charge an hourly rate for the advice they draw up for you.

Can I also ask a coach for an advice?

Yes, that is allowed, but not if you want to discuss financial products. For that, it is better to consult a financial advisor.

Do you have requirements for the advisor I select myself?

The advisor you select yourself must be recognizable as a professional and independent advisor. By recognizable, we mean based on Chamber of Commerce (NL: KvK) registration, website, AFM permit (when offering financial services, such as insurance or loans), and Wft diploma (when advising on financial products such as disability and pension provisions).

Do I have to be registered with the Chamber of Commerce (NL: KvK)?

Yes, the subsidy is only open to self-employed individuals in the cultural and creative sector who are registered as entrepreneurs with the Chamber of Commerce.

I still think it is very expensive, can I also go to one advisor with several people with the same question?

Yes, that is possible, but make sure that you have an invoice that is addressed to you personally.

Can I get an advance payment?

No, unfortunately, that is not possible.

Where does this budget come from?

From the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (NL: OC&W).

I read everywhere "Oog voor Impuls" and "Platform ACCT", what is that?

Platform ACCT stands for Platform Labor Market Cultural and Creative Future. The goal of this platform is to work together to improve the labor market in the cultural and creative sectors. Platform ACCT was founded with the support of the Kunstenbond en Federatie Cultuur and is financed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science. Oog voor Impuls is one of the programs of Platform ACCT. Oog voor Impuls develops regulations to stimulate Fair Practice across the breadth of the cultural and creative sector.

I forgot to declare within the 6 months, what now?

We will send you a timely reminder if you forget to declare.

Can I also submit an application with my organization/ensemble/company/partnership?

No, you can only apply as a self-employed person or are in a general partnership (NL: VOF).

Is my private situation also taken into account?

For a self-employed person, business and private finances are more or less intertwined. In order to get a complete picture of your financial situation, insight into your private situation is desirable, but ultimately, you decide for yourself what you want to tell the advisor about it.
